At Little Kids Zone Preschool, we celebrate the magic of early childhood. We offer a warm, nurturing, home-like environment where children ages 3–5 feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Through play, exploration, and caring relationships, children grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence.

Our Approach to Learning

We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, meaningful play, and strong relationships.

Our preschool program uses a blended curriculum approach, incorporating both Frog Street Preschool and Frog Street Pre-K. This allows our teachers to meet children where they are developmentally and support individual skill growth, even within the same classroom.

Learning experiences support:

  • Early literacy and language development

  • Math, science, and problem-solving

  • Creativity and curiosity

  • Kindergarten readiness skills

All learning is developmentally appropriate, engaging, and joyful.

Social-Emotional Growth & Guidance

At Little Kids Zone Preschool, we nurture the whole child—mind, body, and heart.

We place a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and use the Conscious Discipline approach to guidance. This means we focus on:

  • Building trusting relationships

  • Helping children identify and express emotions

  • Teaching calming and self-regulation skills

  • Supporting problem-solving and empathy

Guidance is rooted in kindness, consistency, and teaching skills—not punishment. Children are supported in learning how to navigate big feelings, social interactions, and classroom expectations in a safe and respectful way.

Program Schedule & Hours

September – June
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Closed for major holidays.

We offer full-day and half-day preschool options to meet the needs of families.

Preschool Rates

Effective September 1st, 2018

  • Full Day: $40

  • Half Day: $25

Scholarships are available.
ERDC accepted.

Enrollment & Tours

To register your child or schedule a tour, please call 541-765-8990.

Tours must be scheduled in advance to avoid disrupting classroom programming. We are unable to accommodate drop-in tours or enrollment.

When registering, please bring:

  • Vaccination records

  • Emergency contact information

  • Medical information, including allergies or dietary needs
