Come join the PIC and see what parents are doing at Kids Zone!
Kids Zone parents Kaileen and Mitch Wade, Kira Diamond, and Kimberly Boyd are the founding members of Kids Zone’s Parent Involvement Committee (PIC). Neighbors For Kids staff and board have welcomed parent involvement in our programs and are excited to formalize this with such an inspired and active new committee and a parent member of our Board of Directors, Kaileen Wade.
The PIC has already made a positive difference in bringing more parents in to Kids Zone. The committee has organized a fun run, the 1st Annual Turkey Trot Fun Run last Thanksgiving Day; staffed the City of Depoe Bay Economic Development Committee’s “Photo with Santa” Day held last December at Kids Zone; arranged Kids Zone’s Christmas Adopt-A-Family; started monthly Bingo Nights open to the entire community, among other activities!
