The day started out overcast and wet, with that drizzle that makes you ask yourself why you’re out of the house this early on a Saturday, traipsing through wet grass to find hiding spots for about 1,000 colorful eggs filled with candy! But we all know why: For the kids!
Despite the weather, kids and adults had a great time at the annual Neighbors For Kids’ sponsored Easter Egg Hunt at the Depoe Bay Park! The sun peeked out of the clouds just as the hunt started, as if it wanted to play, too!
We appreciate all the parents, guardians, and friends who came out early in the rain and glopped around the wet park to give their kids a fun time.
And thanks to the Depoe Bay Fire Department for chauffering our Easter Bunny (aka Aidan!) and giving the kids a treat on the fire truck!
To the board and staff of the Kids Zone for making this fun for everyone . . . well done! Hope you enjoy the pictures!
