Are you passionate about guiding teens toward their fullest potential? Do you believe in the power of mentorship, adventure, and real-world skills? Join our team at Neighbors For Kids, a one-of-a-kind youth facility serving kids and teens ages 3–18 with a focus on connection, growth, and opportunity.

We’re seeking a dynamic Teen Program Mentor to support and inspire our 13–18-year-olds through life skills development, tutoring, leadership opportunities, and outdoor adventures, including kayaking, rowing, and surfing!

What You’ll Do:

  • Build authentic relationships with teens and provide positive mentorship

  • Facilitate life skills workshops, goal-setting sessions, and team-building activities

  • Support academic growth through tutoring and homework help

  • Lead or assist with outdoor recreation and water sports

  • Be a trusted guide and role model through the challenges and triumphs of adolescence

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with teens in education, recreation, or mentorship roles

  • Passion for youth empowerment and a calm, supportive presence

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to engage youth from diverse backgrounds and tailor support to individual needs

  • Comfortable participating in physical activity, including water-based recreation (training provided)
